2023-10-21 ========== It's only been 3 days, so there's not much to comment on. I'm not leaving the home to socialize so it's mostly project work. I did get most of the rest of the cat-shit-linens bagged! The bedsheet purchases from last week turned out to be very fruitful - I didn't realize how much my quality of life was suffering just by (literally) not having my bed in order. As far as project work goes, I did sort of start on the psychotic wizard story - the original inspiration was from [here](https://prokopetz.tumblr.com/post/730717054967136256/wizard-rpg-that-takes-the-vancian-spells-are). As you can see, it's a pretty direct lift but my project is non-commercial and I'm also not directly competing with him. I'll have an original thought some other time. There's one (1) character portrait and ~400 words of dialogue/plot outline so far. It would be pretty damn cool if I had a 10k word VN with shippable A/V by the end of the year. I'm careerboying tomorrow and probably meeting family next weekend so it's not likely that I'll push any further on that until my current incentives run dry (anywhere from 1-3 weeks out). Oh and the fitness situation is mixed-but-pretty-acceptable. Real progress there will rely on some kitchen cleaning so that I'm not getting 12-14 restaurant meals per week.
