2023-10-28 ========== We're back to experimenting with the workout. I've been watching portion sizes / not eating tons of meat, and immediately lost a bunch of strength. However! It turns out I can walk a functionally unlimited (for the amount of time I'm willing to spend on it) amount. There's been 2-5 miles of walking every day instead of the normal workout. I'm going to force myself to do the full set of strength stuff tomorrow and we'll pretend that counts for this post. Otherwise, careerboying has continued as expected. Some side work happened but I got obsessed with trying to get some background art to a high quality bar instead of pushing out an MVP. I did get some writing advice from a friend, so I think the precommitment is this: I will _either_ end up careerboying again next week, _or_ I will have a renpy project uploaded somewhere, with a full first chapter written + character art and backgrounds, by November 11th. The focus will be on the writing, the backgrounds and characters "will exist". Home situation is not worse but not improved. I'll be down to one bag of pre-collected kitten trash after this coming Monday, and then I'll need to actually sit down and do a project. I also did some experimentation with aesthetic this week. Nail polish is surprisingly uncooperative for something that hundreds of millions of people supposedly use on a semi-regular basis. Horrible fitness grinder stats: - Running - did not complete a run - personal best 1.05/1.66, 21:16 - Pushups (decline, 13") - most recent 34/45 - personal best 34/45 - Rows (inverted, 48" cable, into door) - most recent 37/45 - personal best 43/45 - Squats (+40 lbs) - did not complete a full workout - personal best 45/45 - unsure how to increase difficulty. - Weight - most recent 225 - personal best 221 (within last 30d) - start 235 - target 165
